Analytics
These help us understand how visitors use AviaSkill so we can improve the platform. Browser-side product analytics and session replay stay off until you accept them in the consent banner — reject, and PostHog and Sentry replay are never started in your browser, so their cookies are never set. Our servers still record a short list of service milestones, which set no cookie; the Privacy Policy lists them.

What We Don't Do
To be clear about what AviaSkill does NOT do with cookies and tracking:
- No advertising cookies — We don't serve ads and don't use ad tracking
- No third-party marketing trackers — No Facebook Pixel, Google Ads, or similar
- No cross-site tracking — We don't track you across other websites
- No data selling — We never sell cookie data or any personal information to third parties
- No social media trackers — No embedded social media widgets that track you

We choose third-party services that respect user privacy. None of these services are advertising platforms, and we do not share your personal data with them beyond what is necessary to provide our service.
Managing Your Cookie Preferences
Browser Settings
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View which cookies are set
- Delete individual cookies or all cookies
- Block all cookies or only third-party cookies
- Set exceptions for specific websites
Note: Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in and using AviaSkill's authenticated features. Free tools (crosswind calculator, METAR decoder, unit converter) will continue to work without cookies.
Analytics Consent
The banner you saw on your first visit is the switch for product analytics and session replay. Reject and neither is ever started; accept and you can undo it by clearing site data for aviaskill.com, which forgets the decision and shows the banner again.
Your decision is kept in your browser, which means it is per-browser and per-device — a new browser sees the banner again. If you are signed in we also store the decision on your account, as our own record of what you chose.
LocalStorage
Some preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage rather than cookies. You can clear these through your browser's developer tools or by clearing site data for aviaskill.com.

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add new services or change how we use cookies. Significant changes will be communicated through a notice on our website. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last revised.
